I did say most not all. In fact my mother is a regestered democrat. She doesn't even come close to living like one. My dad is republican so that way they can vote on both sides of the ticket during the primaries.

I was fooling around and you know that...I always wonder how a husband/wife/partner (whatever is in on relationships nowadays...) get along well together during election year when they belong to different political parties? We met with a United AL's pilot and his wife for lunch yesterday. He is with our flying club. Along the way, another pilot and his wife was mentioned in the conversation. Small world -- we know both of them. We knew them from our car club. This latter pilot and his wife are also of diverse political parties too. These two couples we both know seems to have strong marriages. When I married my husband he was a staunch Democrat (even though he will not admit it now...) but I knew I won't be able to live with him during election years so slowly I was able to change his choice. He is not a total Republican but as sure as I am sitting down here, I know he is right in the middle as an Independent leaning more on voting a Republican next year. Maybe I really did not changed his mind, maybe he had waken up to what this sutop is doing to this country, but I am happy because at least we are on the same side for a few years now...sooooooooo how was your household while living with your parents who has different point of political views? I am really eager to know...it is a need to ask sort of thingie for me...

Wasn't an issue, both were compatable polically and didn't talk much politics in front of the kids. I have one sister that leans to the left but she live in Portland so I can understand. The rest of us lean to the right. I do get my jabs in now and then just to get a reaction. Works every time.
