Actually, no, it's not as simple as you state. There is a difference between a citizen that's born on American soil (14th Amendment "citizen") and a natural born citizen as required for presidential eligibility in Article II, Section I of the Constitution. The difference is explained in detail here. Whether or not he was born on American soil is not the only question that needs to be answered. His parentage figures into the equation and, on those grounds, he fails the eligibility requirements, the cowardice of the modern judiciary notwithstanding.
