I don't blame you. I spent a good time of my life travelling because my work took me to places and scenes only others can imagined going to until hubby decided he had enough of us meeting at airports and going home for a few days or even for a few hours at times. The news overseas is much more different than what we hear over here. Interesting to note though, the criticisms you hear from some anchors and "authorities" leaves much to be desired at times when they themselves should actually fix their own backyards before "*pissing on someone else's shoes they haven't worn..."

The United States of America must be weakened and brought to it's knees, because only the United States of America stands in the way of the NWO. This could never happen except from within. I am not an alarmist, I am concerned. I shall not leave my home county unless it is a Dona fid emergency. I shall not say never, but I will again say emergency. That is to say, life, limb or property. The one reason I have carried since 1974 was and is the fact humans react in a flash of emotions. I prefer to carry every single place we travel with mags (To the Brady bunch, high capacity, assault type “Clips”) for the “End-Game”. Is this not why we all carry and belong to this forum? I have been afraid since I saw Watts burning in the 1960’s as a teenager, viewing the smoldering ruins from Glendale, California and the gas shortages and lines of the first oil embargo of the ‘70’s.

Yes, we are on the cusp of a national crisis.
But it's not because the government and media are dishonest.
Their corruption is after the fact. We are dishonest.
We've demanded the "government" to do what we think is right - pass this, vote against that, stand for this, oppose that. We whine for prayer in school and that the Ten Commandments be displayed in public places - and even the Christmas Tree, when these things are not for the swine to even consider - these are private religious items - not things to even contemplate in government.
We empower the government [and disempower ourselves], particularly Congress, because we're always wanting it to do something for us, the Right, because we're "right." All along we should have demanded it [government] do nothing - including those things we prefer. We've missed the fundamentals of what government should be and what it should not be. We generally have a bumper sticker or T-shirt slogan level understanding of the Constitution and don't seem to want more than that. The federal government should exist to do little and protect the rights of states to do most. But it's reversed now and has been backward for a long time because We've been just as guilty as the Left of wanting the federal government to do things for us - and so unlimited-term politicians always rise to the occasion and give one side or the other what they want.

The media plays both sides because we empower it - we watch it - we choose Fox News as though it really stands for us. Fox News will do just fine regardless the political party in power because it keeps us stirred and commercial sponsors will keep paying Fox News big dollars to maintain that sports event mentality. The media and it's anchors and guests, both on the Left and Right, keep getting richer off of our shallow thinking and naivety.

We've also lost our citizenship compass by embracing multiculturalism - yes, we on the Right put on a face of multicultural acceptance. White guilt, diversity and all the tentacles of pseudo intellectualism and affirmative socialism finally got to us. So, on one hand we firmly stand on conservative principals and on the other we pretend that crime and moral degradation is equally distributed - so we don't talk about the math, the truth of how a smaller percentage of our "legitimate" population is morally corrupting and criminally killing us, raping us and breaking into our homes. Then, when a minority individual is shot down under questionable circumstances society is primed to believe that we the majority are inherently racist, purveyors of bigotry and murder. The "Al Sharptons, Frederica Wilsons" Black Panthers and hate rappers have a field day on our dime as though the math of violent crime, i.e., the fact that from a demographic 17% of the population stems nearly 80% of violent crime never existed - because WE never talk about it - soooo scared to be called the R word - soooo scared to lose our badge of multiculturalism approval.

Our protests against these social atrocities that we know in our hearts are central in destroying America are mouse squeaks. Hell, the hate in rap music against us and our women is not even included as part of our political leaders' platforms! What used to be blatantly anti-social and obviously anti-America is completely tolerated. It's speech and free but where's our speech against it? Where's our efforts to society to return America's fundamental heart and strength? Multiculturalism is not simply a mix of races and cultures working in harmony to maintain a cohesive society - it's the opposite - it's the softening up of the front line for the final assault on America by the first President of the United States committed to her fall.

We have news every day that shows our nicety-nice world is coming unraveled at the seems.

In the wake of the George Zimmerman/Travon Martin affair we now have major media and the highest government officials interjecting themselves into the picture BEFORE a fair and impartial trial can be carried out per constitutional mandate.

We are seeing groups of knuckleheads from both side of this coin attack innocent people for no other reason than for "REVENGE" or "PAYBACK". I am referring to the atrocities in Arizona as well as the atrocities that have happened in Mobile, Cleveland and Virginia Beach/Norfolk.

I believe that the media and the Government have allowed this situation to spin completely out of control. The news media has been caught lying and fanning the flames of racial tensions. The Office of the President has also similarly interjected sentiments that have fanned the flames of racial tension.

Now we see folks trying to profit from the losses of others by attempting to trademark the name of the deceased and by making tee-shirts and bumper stickers that by their very design fan the flames some more.

The problem with all of this is that not one single media outlet or government agency is trying to make any move towards the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

The general public for the most part only knows what is being shoveled to them by the media and the clock is ticking.

Ask any person that has lived through any of the crap from the 60's and 70's and they will tell you first hand that none of this is correct.

NOW...let's look at a bigger picture.

The very laws and freedoms that we as Americans cherish are being challenged due to the inability of the media to report news without twisting it to fit an agenda.

The folks who are crying loudest and most often are far and removed from this situation but still feel the need be heard concerning an event between two individuals that needs to be decided in the courts and not in the media.

All of this is serving to unhinge the rule of law and make a concerted effort to push it off the foundations of truth and justice.

If this is not settled with the public being allowed access to the truth...theory, conjecture, and emotion will rule the day and justice will not be served; for either side of the coin.

That fact alone could go a long way towards inciting national riots and racial discord.

So I ask very simply, Are we on the cusp of a National Crisis?

I and my family could manage to survive a major economic collapse, similar to the great depression, since we live on a 240 acre family farm in Iowa. However, I think we are headed for something much worse, more like the dark ages. Judging by what is happening in the rest of the world, I think we are heading for the total collapse of western civilization. Governments and all law and order will cease to exist. Very few will survive this.

I hate to be such a pessimist but just look around you. Radical Islam is trying to destroy us, Europe (socialism) is in the verge of total economic collapse, Communism is making a big come back, and the Nazzi Party elected a large number of parliament members in Greece. Socialism is taking over in this country and most Americans do not have the slightest idea what this means. Socialism doesn't make everyone equally rich; it makes everyone equally poor. I hope Romney is able to slow the collapse but I doubt it.

I agree regarding the "at least he is an American point." I don't particularly like the guy but of course I'm not voting on emotion like 90% of 'Bama backers. It's not necessary that we like our candidate. It's necessary that we believe that he can stop the bleeding - I see Romney with the ability to stop the bleeding in four years and not much more - but that's enough to perhaps thwart a national collapse in every sense. We don't need a charismatic president - we see where that got us, right?
