judge orders halt to construction of mosque Today judge R Corlew ruled that Rutherford county did not give residents sufficient notice of the mosque being built in Murfreesboro TN. In his ruling all plans are void and will have to be resubmitted. This is all I gathered from the brief update I received. Close to home and this judge has a spine, finally.

The argument in this matter is not religion. His ruling is based on the lack of notice giving to the neighboring residents. They had no clue until ground broke and the sign went up and property values went down. However I believe had it been a catholic church they would not have been so secretive about it in the first place.Originally Posted by eagleeyes

Traffic increase, noise increase, possibly. It seems you feel a but different or maybe more tolerant of Islam than I. I don't intend to argue with anyone. I've seen things first hand, I've researched many things and I believe what I believe. I will not force that on you. I will not say that what I believe is the right and only just belief. Islam says it is the only acceptable belief It's a massive can of worms. I don't hate Muslims, I don't agree with some of their beliefs. I don't particularly like it when someone wishes my family and myself dead for our beliefs.
I commend that judge for standing up for the community. Kudos...!!!
