Thumbs down *Obama grants 'Executive Privilege' to Eric Holder*

Fox News is reporting that President Obama has granted Attorney General Eric Holder executive privilege on documents pertaining to Operation “Fast and Furious.” Holder recently agreed to provide additional subpoenaed documents to members of Congress, including Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), however, the latest move indicates the attorney general has no intention of making good on his promise.

Actually this makes it even more interesting. Executive privilege only applies to matters the president is involved in, and only under certain circumstances, in this case national security. If they are invoking executive privilege, they are saying two things. One, the president was personally involved, and two, it was a matter of national security. They have never up to this point indicated personal involvement of the president, so this would open up an entirely new scope of the investigation, one with far reaching consequences. Invoking this as a matter of national security is a direct contradiction of previous sworn testimony by Holder, so it would therefore mean he lied under oath. That alone makes him guilty of contempt. This is just another bullying attempt by the administration to bypass our established governmental process and get what they want by acting like dictators. But it appears they may not have thought it through very well. Very interesting indeed.

The use of executive privilege would indicate the occupier in chief was aware of and involved in the activities that took place in the Fast and Furious operation. If this is not the case, then executive privilege should not apply. If it is the case, impeachment, in my non constitutional lawyer way of thinking, would be appropriate for various violations of federal and state laws.

But don't let this stuff trouble you! According to media polls, 52% of the population think they are better off since "O" took office. I think the media polled a certain demographic that has undoubtedly prospered from "O" and his "programs." There's a lot of work to do before November friends, and I hope we are up to it. If not, these will be the good old days.

Our government is being run for the benefit of the political class. The interests of the prople are of no concern for them. Our money is being stolen to buy the votes of the ignorant and lazy. They are destroying the country to achieve political advantage for themselves. Nothing is too low for our politicians. By declaring executive privilege the Obama Administration is admitting that "fast and furious " is the result of the executive branch being involved at the highest levels. They were trying to destroy the second amendment by showing that US guns were causing the crime in Mexico. I hope that our dishonest and self serving politicians pay close attention to what happened during the French Revolution. The US avoided the "Reign of Terror "during our revolution because we were once a " moral and religious people". I regret that we are no longer that "religious and moral people" that were observed by deToqueville. Those destroying our country and way of life could face serious consequences when the people finally wake up and find out what has been done to their country and future.

While this definitely speaks to the President's involvement, it still doesn't speak to anyone's motives. It's a thoroughly reprehensible act, but I have a hard time believing that someone would think giving more guns to the bad guys would make it easier to take guns away from the good guys. If it was done purely to justify more registration and regulation, which would make sense, it would still contradict the idea that the end game is taking away our guns altogether. Frankly I just think this big mess makes less and less sense the more I learn about it.

Just one more thing this worthless excuse for a human being, much less a president, has done to prove that he is a crook, a loser, a hater of America, a hater of the sanctity of marriage, a supporter of the perverts of the world, and a supporter of the killing of millions of babies. Hopefully the American voting public will vote him, his cronies, and his czars out of office in November before he totally destroys all the values and legal systems that makes this country so great. I know of nothing he has done during his time in office that has been beneficial for America and her citizens. More people out fo work than ever, worse economy than ever, even more jobs to the foreigners, and on and on it goes. Please, please vote him out in November!
