Default Proof Obama & Holder Knew About Gun Walking in 2009

Well, at least now we know why Executive Privilege might apply....Operation Gunrunner was "fortified" at Obama's order to Eric WithHolder! In less than four minutes, Big Sis Napolitano and other DHS and DoJ officials completely decimate any notion that WithHolder or Obama didn't know what was going on. Watch the whole thing. I can't believe this video hasn't been played every time WithHolder showed up at the committee hearings.

Nancy stated this morning that this is all about those nasty republicans seeking revenge for the democrats going after Bush on the Valarie Plain issue. This appears to contradict her statement. Is Nancy misinformed? She wouldn't lie to protect fellow democrats, would she?

I don't think there's any question that he knew about it, and hasn't been since he pulled the executive privilege card. The only things that seem to be in question are the level of involvement and the intent behind what happened. People may have their beliefs about what happened, but for every point one side makes the other side has a counter point, so both sides have enough evidence to be convinced that they know what happened. At least that's what I got from Holder's contempt hearing yesterday.

I don't think we're ever going to really know what went on behind closed doors. Regardless of what anyone believes, the motives of the people involved are academic at this point because this is now only serving to strengthen the beliefs of people that have already made up their minds about which side of the fence they sit on. Republicans are convinced it's evidence the opposition is corrupt, and Democrats are convinced it's evidence that the other side will stoop to anything to swing the election. But however you look at it, the whole thing is absolutely appalling and speaks very poorly of the administration and the Justice Department.

The left keeps saying this is an election year ploy. But if 0 and WithHolder had provided the papers last year, it wouldn't be here this year.

    Hmm.....Every point has a counter-point, huh?

What is the counter-point to the notion that both Congress and the public have a right to know why Brian Terry had to die at the hands of cartel gunmen who were armed by the same government he was sworn to serve?

What is the counter-point to the clear fact that DoJ conducted a program of allowing illegally-purchased guns to walk into a (supposedly) allied sovereign nation without that country's knowledge to be delivered to organized crime figures?

What is the counter-point to the established fact that zero tracking of those guns were either attempted or accomplished under the Obama/Holder DoJ?

What is the counter-point to the Obama/Holder DoJ forcing law-abiding gun dealers in AZ and TX to falsify NICS paperwork and illegally transfer weapons to straw buyers?

What is the counter-point to denying the agents who came forward with their higher-ups' illegal activities "whistleblower" status protections that have led to some of them being retaliated against, while their bosses have had promotions and lateral moves that put them out of the picture in the investigation?

The above are just a few burning questions off the top of my head that need to be answered. You say every point has a counter-point. Articulate valid counter-points to these questions and maybe we'll get into the more detailed and/or nuanced questions surrounding the controversies. Or maybe just admit that there's a whole lot more to it than you have even considered, and not all of it comes from a strictly partisan or political perspective.
