This really is a idiotic statement comming from the leader of a country that is controled by drug dealers, corrupt police and government officials, and terrorists. More US gun control will mean nothing to the extremely violent drug gangs in Mexico. Any time the Mexican criminals need more guns they can just ask Holder. Mexico has a very long tradition of corruption and lawlessness. We need to close the border to stop the violence from entering the US. Although Obama seems to be trying to imitate Mexico in its lawlessness, corrupttion, and fiscal mismanagement.

The Mexican drug dealers have said they don't get most of their guns from the US. They get them from countries south of Mexico. Calderon and 0 both want the same thing, the US citizens disarmed so they can walk all over us.

I think he's been bought out by some our polititians, either in straight-up cash or just a promise of more money to "fight the war on drugs", as it were. I know he's playing both sides... he's taking bribes from the Cartel to keep allowing them to operate at will w/o interference, while taking our tax dollars to "stop" the very same thing.
Aside from the vacations spots like Cancun, Mexico is an absolute sh!thole full of drugs, corruption, and death. And yes, I have been there... I was stationed about an hour from the border, on the NM side of El Paso...
