Default Is the 4th Amendment dead too?

    the 4th states:
"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

Personally, I don't care if they're looking for a shoplifter or a terrorist, whats the point of having a Constitution if we're not going to follow it?

I just love the way the damning evidence was declared a secret...how very convenient.
    May God help us.

That went out the window with the passing of the Patriot Act.

Female Judge in San Francisco what else would you expect.

1A doesn't apply the way it was written (Congress shall establish no religion.... not "we cannot talk about God at all at school")
2A doesn't apply the way it was written (shall not be infringed means what?)
4A apparently doesn't apply according to this thread
9A doesn't apply since it was placed to avoid federal gov't from expanding its powers.
10A certainly doesn't apply with all the heavy handed Federal abuses overstepping their bounds with states.

It's a sad day in America. Worse thing is, if you named these few amendments to most Americans, they wouldn't be able to tell you what they are, which is why they can be abused.

the 5th is ignored also...at least in certain terms, the drug war has confiscated cars, houses & money..without compensation. Maybe property tax could fit in here too, I mean, if you dont pay..they take it.

    the 6th, 7th & 8th..killed by the ndaa.

And youre right, most people could not name any of them.

    sad is an understatement.

"Liked" not because I like it, but because it was a very insightful post.
Of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive.
