good question but why are they buying up all that ammo????? i saw that article on my facebook and it is odd but i'm thinking they are all of the same crown just different organizations and corporations all working for the same goal so it matters not if it's the weather service the local pd's or military service they trying to monopolize and control all buying and selling and will use whatever means to achieve this i think they are also trying to buy up all non crown owned gun and ammo corporations so they can then have the power to price as well distribute to whom they want and prevent others if and when they so choose as yet another way to control our guns ....

The Coast Guard used to be part of the Dept of Commerce but not now, so it isn't for them.

I am a weather spotter with the NWS. I have had numerous interactions with NWS personnel over the years. I have yet to meet an armed NWS employee, so it naturally begs the question, why is the NWS arming itself? This is on top of the NWS announcement back in June that it may have to furlough 5,000 employees because of funding deficits within the organization. So they RIF 5,000 employees because they're running out of money but then turn around and buy thousands of rounds of ammo?
