One: the site is gunssavelife.com, life not lives
Two: Be careful, he may be the STATE attorney for that county, not any other county, not the COUNTY attorney, not the CITY attorney. There may be overlapping jurisdictions, ANY of which may choose to prosecute.
Three: This doesn't stop the police from arresting you. You are still violating the law. They can keep you until the judge dismisses it because the state attorney won't prosecute.
Four: In spite of all that, this is great! Glad to see officials standing up for our rights!

Sorry Charon PDX, the Police call the States Attorney to see if they CAN Charge the Suspect, the Judge does not get the Case, unless the States Atorney has brought a Case against the Defendant to the County Clerk for Docket Assignment. The State Police can be a little harsher in their Arrest Tactics, they belong to the Governor but still have to seek Charges from the County States Attorney. No Charges, Defendant released in 48 Hours, thats the Law. The Local Police work hand in hand with the County States Attorneys Office. This is the People of Illinois speaking to Springfield and Chicago, saying... change this Unconstitutional Law, because it can not be Lawful to enforce it! We should all rally behind a brave soul like Ron Dozier, for standing up and telling Governor Quinn and AG Lisa Madigan to change this Law and support HB148.
