It’s hard to realize that the American people are so stupid, as to reelect someone who has proven that he doesn’t really care for the American way of life and push’s us toward a 22 trillion debt that we may never recover from.

The majority of voters concluded that the Romney supporters were the "stupid" people, and that Romney didn't really care for the American way of life.
Romney had a fair opportunity to sell his version of "America life" to the voters, but the majority didn't buy it. Last I looked, the losers don't define America, the winners do.
all the dead ohioans voted for Obama and there are more dead people than living people....plus dead people don't discuss politics much.
Interesting. I didn't think that 50.5% was actually a real definition of a majority. Oh, statistically it is but where the electorate is concerned, 50.5% is no majority. And, I don't really consider myself a "stupid" person.

Normal is an illusion. What is normal to the spider is chaos to the fly.
Once again if you look at the voting map, it's the large cities in each state that decided we need more socialism. In Nevada for instance two counties one that includes Reno and one that includes Las Vegas was all Obama needed to take the entire state.

Not so sure that the election process is broken..
It's the people who are broken. We need to be more careful about who we are letting become a citizen. And get the heck out of other countries and mind our own business. That last doesn't really have anythign to do with the topic but I thought I'd throw it in anyway.
Times have changed. This is NOT the country I grew up in. My generation (Boomers) have only themselves to blame for not passing on the values that we were taught. Quite simply, the "Me" generation won. It's not going to get any better in future elections until we are in worse shape than Europe.
In 2012, 13% of the vote was cast by blacks. In 04, it was 11%. This year, 10% was Latino. In '04 it was 8%. This time, 19% was cast by voters under 30 years of age. In '04 it was 17%. Boomers are aging and dying, divirsity in the U.S. has never been greater and it is continuing to change.
None of these groups, IMO, follow history and have no clue, nor do they care, what is happening in any world other than their own personal world.
Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man gainst his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia...Tenche Coxe, The Pennsylvania Gazette, Feb. 20, 1788.
