Wow, I guess the Constitution and Bill of Rights are officially just old pieces of paper that don't mean anything. Do these people not read the damn thing? Pardon my "french" but its ridicules to think these people are elected and stay in office. How can he justify this bill?! How can he honestly believe what is coming out of his mouth? Im almost at a loss for words. Our rights are being trampled and there's not a d*mn thing we can do about it.......

What he signed makes perfect sense and is probably long overdue. It doesn't restrict content of speech, just time, place, and manner. And it does so in a pretty narrowly-tailored fashion.

I suppose when the NAACP or the Black Panthers or the SEIU/ACORN brownshirts of his decide to "do their thing" the feds will step in under this bill. Bullturd. This is more fascist control by a narcissistic, moslem, fascist who kisses his mirror in the morning and goes about his business of destroying what was once the USA and is rapidly becoming a total inept asylum run by its inmates.

Yes mmckee1952, it is a direct attack on the First Amendment, cloaked as a measured step.
Measured "steps" transform into total control. Too many of our brothers quickly seek kumbaya moments with the enemy [like this issue] and effectively, join it.
The times in which we find ourselves cannot accomodate gray.
It's a sign of danger in a society when government solicits for itself acclamation from those who pay its salary; worse when the taxpayer gives it both salary and praise.

It will not be long before the government will be putting it's citizens in prison as "political prisoners". It's coming, mark my words.

    SR40c:
    Very correct!
Between the DHS, executive orders (see below ) and the Patriot Act, your scenario will be swiftly implemented, legally. Most 20th century despots implementing soft takeovers included preemptive legislation making the transition, at least appear, legal.

I voted for George W. twice - only later realizing the incredible impact against our liberties via the Patriot Act, admittedly read by only two of all who voted for it.
I now view George W. Bush as one of our worst presidents. He, in fact, engaged us in two wealth-stealing wars, unnecessarily, loss of soldiers in unnecessary war being the first offense. He, in fact, handed his successor an impossible economy - but the successor, rather than "fix" it as promised, intentionally made it worse.

    The kinds of people:
    1. those who are infatuated with the "Great One," i.e., President Santa Clause, the illiterate and gimme, gimme, the President's constituency who, it seems, bred much faster than the rest of us
    2. those saturated with entertainment, Facebook, sports and other distractions (of design), oblivious to the severity of the times, history-illiterate
    3. those who play by the rules, pay taxes for recipients of those taxes, pay property tax and often operate businesses, are versed in history, perceive the incredible uniqueness of the US Constitution and America's "exceptionalism"

The first two kinds of people listed here are the rot, the parasites of America's foundation.
The third kind listed are struggling to keep America intact.

    • EXECUTIVE ORDER 11310 grants authority to the Department of Justice to enforce the plans set out in Executive Orders, to institute industrial support, to establish judicial and legislative liaison, to control all aliens, to operate penal and correctional institutions, and to advise and assist the President.
    • EXECUTIVE ORDER 11003 allows the government to take over all airports and aircraft, including commercial aircraft.
    • EXECUTIVE ORDER 11004 allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate communities, build new housing with public funds, designate areas to be abandoned, and establish new locations for populations.

    • EXECUTIVE ORDER 11005 allows the government to take over railroads, inland waterways and public storage facilities.
    • EXECUTIVE ORDER 10990 allows the government to take over all modes of transportation and control of highways and seaports.

    • EXECUTIVE ORDER 10998 allows the government to take over all food resources and farms.
    • EXECUTIVE ORDER 11000 allows the government to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision.
    • EXECUTIVE ORDER 11001 allows the government to take over all health, education and welfare functions.
    • EXECUTIVE ORDER 11002 designates the Postmaster General to operate a national registration of all persons.

Don't forget the indefinite detention authorized by the NDAA. This is just another tool for him to use to as he establishes his rule past 2016.
