Please introduce legislation to bring open carry to Florida. The open carry of personal sidearms by law abiding citizens is a strong deterent to crime. This concept has worked well in Alaska, Arizona, New Mexico , Vermont and is currently being considered in Texas. This will also help restore balance to the second ammendment by allowing any law abiding citizen that does not have a felony history to excercise his or her rights responsibly. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

North Carolina is also "Open Carry". Tennessee is open carry with a handgun permit (concealed or un).
