Disarming America; Only a few Votes Away from Reality.

OK, let's look at how disarming AmeriKa could happen relatively fast and without massive civil unrest. Our new president settles into the White House and starts with passing a series of laws that say the very act of owning any private firearm if now prohibited by federal law except by LEO's on duty & the military engaged in defending U.S. interests per executive orders flying thru a democratic heavy Congress/Senate. Public outrage by many but praise by those who don't want to see any armed militias developing in their states & cities. Owners of registered guns R contacted to turn them in. The government already knows who owns most (not all) of the legal guns in this nation cross-checked against sales by FFL's and NIC records. Add that unregistered firearms are also included and U have 'X' days to turn all your pistols/rifles and shotguns into a local 2 U facility, police station or mobile units cruising your streets at scheduled times with a nice 1-800 # to arrange that you get a receipt of compliance with each serial #, make and model, plus ammo, and accessories, or else bad lawful things start happening to you, like a summons to appear in court as a more coercive next step. Many incidents end up in shoot-outs with headlines of course of the grieving spouse of the dead LEO who was a GREAT parent 'just doing their job', the propaganda CNN eats up, and the acts of the most patriotic better dead than disarmed ex-LEGAL gun owners backfires to the point that even the NRA stops praising these vigilantes and starts urging tolerance. The world media looks on and sees bad old Rambo types living out their last minutes of life now convinced that this new president is doing something good for the U.S. public, as not having the right to bear arms maybe in their nations is a normal way of life, and anyone who shoots a cop HAS to be an armed BG... Obama must be right c/o BBC or ZDF or many of our own media outlets? That law then goes on to make ownership beyond this 'grace' period a felony, and many more than you think would comply and turn in their weapons if say non-compliance earns you a $25K fine per month of disobeying and contempt of court as rap to begin your real legal troubles and your criminal record. Maybe a letter from someone in your state government to your employer stating that you are on a watch list of noncompliant gun owners who is under investigation and facing very serious charges, which may get you a pink-slip or maybe nothing, yet. Many still would hold out and some may soon figure out that even keeping guns stashed was getting pretty rough on most facets of their normal lives & causing more stress with each passing day. This law goes on to say that any person who uses any firearm for ANY reason will be charged with BATF/and other ABC crimes and lists them all in every media outlet possible, brainwashing many who held sympathy or support for you as too risky to their own peace and comfortable legal lives. So there you are with your name on a watch list of persons who did not comply, probably banned from airline travel, and the letters then get more threatening, leading to unwarranted searches of your entire life. Computers, e-mails and posts are subpoenaed, work mates questioned by mail & told about the penalties of aiding & abetting you in any way and what they stand to lose if they do, ostracization works wonders as does peer-pressure and possible loss of all income for you or them if they are 'befriending a potential enemy of the state'. Warranted searces of all your private data from credit companies to club affiliations begin. To find any evidence of your failure to turn in your weapon(s) a non-compliance next step; complete searches of your home, office, vehicle(s) or right of passage are now common place intrusions into your normal daily life that is now getting very far from normal. Then the heavy-hitting threats start in registered certified USPS mail: 5 years in jail for 1st offense: illegal gun possession. 10 if U use that weapon to defend yourself/loved ones or the general public. So U still hold out and a BG breaks in armed of course as jail is just an occupational hazard not a real concern to hardcore BG's. U shoot but the BG lives to sue you later maybe, both of you go to jail, BG gets burglary with armed robbery. In 3-5 years he/she is out and living off your estate c/o a law-suit for medical bills/rehab and U R still doing hard time! So now U enter a very dark area where U can not afford to just drop & hold the BG until the cops show-up, they become the last folks U want to see unless you want to go to jail for sure, so you are now stuck with some very tough choices none of them legal or humane. If the BG dies you just copped 10-15 years for manslaughter. Knowing that collecting every legal weapon in the USA is going to be impossible, the government makes the use of them illegal, a new concept to you a given for any BG. So if you shoot a BG U will get a cell, losing MUCH more than your weapon, your freedom and very livelihood all gone. So now if you shoot a BG, you move into a whole new arena, that of a BG. Forensics or good police-work are probably going to link you in some way to a very dead, very disposed of 220LB BG, (how many of us really know how to totally pull off an undetectable homicide? NO ANSWERS PLEASE! I sure don't or even ever want to learn how to!) and U R now looking at 5 years for owning, 10 for shooting, 15+ for murder, and 5 for lying to cover your tracks, add 10 for disposing the BG body (destroying evidence) and maybe that now become premeditated murder-1 if BG is still alive after the 1st shot and may live to put U in jail if they get away, HMMMM? Now you are acting & thinking very much like a gory scene out of the Sopranos, U shoot U can't call 911, U R doing hideous acts wilfully planning ways to avoid capture and prosecution, your bank account frozen, home impounded, job lost and 50-life in lock-up not in county/country-club but the pen. So you commit that act at 20 and walk free at 70 a lifer who grew old or died inside a prison. The thought of that alone makes the idea of defending yourself & the consequences you may end up paying for a nightmare come true. Extreme measures? YES! But it frees up all kinds of LEO assets to do one simple thing, catch you somewhere in the process of owning or (much worse) using a weapon then going through a world of hideous crap to hide the fact. Prohibition dried up America by criminalizing booze and that backfired, caused more crime than it fixed with bootlegging and organized crime running it, the very same type of vote that could make your law-abiding self a lifer for the act of owning or using a gun is probably the easiest way to convince most that living without a gun kinda beats being in jail for life or dead and buried for the crime of defending yourself with a gun. This post will probably bring the wrath of USA Carry down upon my head, I am not for this in any way, just explaining a way I see it unfolding if guns & Obama become a real issue. If you can see that a government bent on disarming America only has to make a few very bad Waco-style arrests for them to make their point in the media which will have most gun-owners seriously thinking very hard about the consequences of owning or using any weapon if the fall-out/back-lash is much worse than most are willing to swap their somewhat comfortable productive and normal life-styles for if they get caught, the effect that would have on those they care for most from their spouses to their kids now going it alone with U in jail for a very long time and them paying off a hefty fine (complicity?) that your illegal actions brought down upon them. Sure you may say: 'Peel it out of my dead fingers!" but then you take a long realistic look at the tangible and meaningful things you will lose if you get caught from a spouse, kin, friends all gone out of your life, your home, car, possessions, bank account now property of the government, lost job all gone in the few seconds it takes to bear down on a BG and squeeze off a single round in self defense. All the very things the 2-nd Amendment gave you the right to protect when the SHTF lost because you didn't wait around to file a police report or just threw up your arms and said take what you want and leave, hoping your insurance will cover losses and the BG's will get caught, the armed sheeple of America are not all so charged-up about the 2-nd as many claim to be when the time comes to use a gun and under new laws may lose everything that makes their lives worth living, not to a bullet but to a cell and a life as a prisoner. Or suicide to avoid it. That is about as scary as it gets and if I were BHO trying to disarm AmeriKa, that's how I'd play it out. Use the laws 1st then the heavies. Not in America you reply, but think about that with 1 in 2 homes/families in this nation gun owning folks who want to live free and enjoy what life they have with those they love. Do you think that after the 1st month of the horror stories that will be headlines every day or just long enough to convince most that the changes that so many voted for include this gun-prohibition, and I would venture to guess that there won't be 10,000,000 SWAT/FBI Waco reruns before the NWO U.S. government gets what they want, a disarmed cowed population they no longer have to fear as potential desperate rebels who are going to burst out of their homes guns blazing, there will be plenty of those the first few months and after that those martyrs for the 2-nd will become the kind of folks who their ex-armed neighbors say: "Thank God it was him/her/them not me/us, poor soul(s)." That IS human nature. Sure there will be brave die hards, but as this new law and order replaces the old status-quo, those 'incidents' are going to become less prevalent and mainstream America will then have become a model of the British no privately owned guns or long jail sentences ahead for those who try and get caught society. When the first round-ups started in Nazi Germany there were many small unorganized localized armed reprisals but when word got around that because of the actions of 1 or 10 German 'undesirables' who not only lost their lives but the brown shirts came and rounded up all their neighbors sending them all off to camps, it didn't take long before VERY scared German citizens walked into their local Gestapo or SA office with lists of those they knew were not obeying the new laws just to save themselves from a payback they knew would result if they failed to report that and if you ever talk to an old German who lived through those times they will verify that fact with shame or righteous rationalization, what other choice did they have to survive? Think this just a concoction of my imagination? I hope it is and I am dead wrong! Before you dismiss it please verify these facts in any history book or on-line search dealing with the 'changes' an ex-corporal and his henchmen brought to Germany whose economy was in ruins and the rest of the world looked at them as war-like trouble makers who didn't deserve any pity, much like we do to the millions of non-Americans who cheered on 9/11. I hope you read this and see the writing on the wall that could so easily be replicated in this nation once the changes BHO promised start happening in earnest when it comes down to the sanctity of our 2nd Amendment to the Constitution of these United States of changing America. A work of non-emotive comparison that is only posted to stimulate rational thinking in our patrons on how we could lose our our 2nd Amendment as easily and quickly as we lost much of our 1st (and others) when the Patriot Act and the Department of Homeland Security were created and signed into law, used correctly good ways to help prevent a rerun of another 9/11 if that is all it does or much more insidiously as a tool for preventing any real civil uprising against a government that ends up serving itself not the people who voted it into power, imposing the total control/utter fear of reprisals that can control a vast population of those who tow the line and shut their minds down into the drone-mode any nation needs to exist, but quickly stagnates when culling the leaders, thinkers and movers who make that nation stand out and prosper with better ways to deal with their problems that improve the overall quality of life for all, preserve the common good and DO question the special interest few or the 1% richer than most of us will ever rise to become elite, are removed from the equation/balance of what once shone so brightly in the USA I came to with SO much hope some 32 years ago. I still have that hope and pride in my nation but I am losing that wide-eyed innocence by the acts of others who run this place that I call home and leaving is not a final solution for this old Vet.

We should start a push to impeach this communist as soon as possible.

The abrogation of our current rights won't happen immediately or dramatically...but slowly and insidiously, and there will be "logical" justifications for it all. Liberals who own guns will justify it away and try to sell the rest of us on his lies, preferring to accept what they know as falsehoods for the sake of keeping their Obama Messiah in power.

I believe anything can happen. The old "it can't happen here" attitude that many hold to is nonsense. Those that feel that way are in a state of denial. I have seen laws enacted and bureaucrats elected to office in my life time that most Americans 100 years ago would not have believed would happen. How many would have thought just a few years ago that a majority of the population would vote for a clearly Marxist candidate for President. This is not your fathers America. I know not everyone will agree with me because not all of us have the same religious beliefs but I feel the only thing that can turn this socialist juggernaut that we are on and save America is a spiritual revival and a return to the things that once made us a great nation.

I am also one that believes it could happen in America. Maybe not as easily as in some other countries but just as possible. All it would take is the right combination in the Senate, Congress and the presidential office for it to begin. Wait, what combination will start next year? Should a conservative SCOTUS justice retire and be replaced by an Obama picked justice (maybe Justice Clinton), well it would just make things all the easier.
