Looks like someone with "standing" has filed a lawsuit. Ballot Access News Blog Archive Alan Keyes Files Lawsuit Over Obama Eligibility Maybe he'll produce documents and settle the issue once and for all.

I'm surprised that more of this hasn't been made of this in the media. I've defended Obama against some of what I believe are some of the more foolish and untrue accusations and conspiracies against him. However, it is really a big deal if something needed to prove his constitutional eligibility is not produced in a timely manner.

That he was not in fact a Muslim? SORRY HE WAS FACT...
That he can't speak fluent ARABIC AND OFTEN QUOTES FROM THE KORAN? SORRY HE CAN AND DOES FACT...
That he ATTENDED Flag Burnings with his wife? FACT...
That the the washington renovation plans include removing the words "IN GOD WE TRUST" from all government buildings and currency? FACT...
That he found comfort his entire adult life in the company of the most radical members of our society, until it was politically inconvenient to continue to do so? SADLY FACT...
That he does not support infanticide? YOU NEED TO LOOK NO FURTHER THEN HIS RECORD FACT...
That ACORN was not on his payroll? SORRY HE HAD TO AMEND HIS CAMPAIGN FINANCE STATEMENT TO SHOW THAT FACT TO THE TUNE OF 800K PLUS...
That he and Ayers DID NOT HIRE AND TRAIN ACORN? FACT...

Does anybody find it curious that Obama hired a team of lawyers months ago to prevent him from being forced to prove his citizenship before he received the democratic party's nomination or the general election?

Just as curious that a team of 30 Obama paid lawyers landed in Wascilla, Alaska less then 24 hours after Governor Palin was selected as the V.P. nominee...

IF he does not have anything to hide why does he not put this to rest?

Sometimes he's honest, like when he said he wanted to "spread the wealth around", or when he talks up ACORN, then denies he ever did. He can flagrantly get away with things like that, and his supporters don't seem to notice that he's just blatantly insulted their intelligence.

However, other times I'm pretty sure he's somehow lying even when his lips are not moving; maybe it's ESP or something. Look how he sort of hypnotizes people into following him around like a pied piper. It's really creepy how he really doesn't say anything of substance, but people assume he knows what he's talking about.

It's not so unfamiliar, though - Huey Long, Hitler and LBJ have had a similar effect on people.
