REPOST? supreme court says you dont have a right to police protection

I believe the Heller decision had a little to do with the fact that not long ago this same court said that the police do not have to protect individuals, even if they have a court order of protection.

Im wondering why no lawyer has put gun ban cities on trial for gun ban laws. The ban is diminishing their right to protect themselves and others.
