Unfortunately, you are correct. Just the same, I do not like his politics or his arrogance.

That sounds like good news, unfortunately if you poll that same 75% you will find a large group within them, that although believe that the right to own and carry firearms is an individual right they will then state that it does not extend to "assault weapons", "automatic weapons (meaning semi), or other "war type weapons" as defined by the anti-groups.

That is why, although there is a strong majority for 2A, they will still back a gun ban. Education on the TRUTH of WHAT THESE WEAPONS ARE is paramount, instead of just trash talk about "liberals".

When rabbid defenders of 2A open their mouths, they indeed sound like their life goal is in their guns and that makes them sound dangerous to the general public. There are discussions on this board about "Do you live in the state you do because of the gun laws, or would you move to a new state JUST to get more favorable gun laws?" To us, that seems like normal conversation, to the anti's that sounds like war talk, but of MOST importance is to the average joe in the public ... IT MAKES US SOUND CRAZY! "You'ld move just to be able to carry more guns?"

We need to present a reasonalbe, educated and educational side of why semi-automatic weapons are a functional tool, not a weapon of war, no matter what they look like.

I don't recall a lot of racial over tones about Obama on this forum. I for one could care less what race he is if he was a conservative, patriot with strong moral values that supported the constitution. These things he is not. What he is is a Marxist/socialist who will do everything in his poser to strip us of our rights and move us closer to a one world government, new world order.

We allow it because we separate our clout with stupid petty differences, like the fact that they are listed as a liberal.........MANY, many ,many so called liberals own guns and shoot every week. some 43% of democrats/liberals own guns and 69% of those have CCW's. That means several million liberals have ccw's.
But here and other sites we treat those who not vote like the right in every instance the ENEMY. This site bashes those who view abortion, and economic views differently as bad. Sites like this are a big part of the problem, we divide gun owners because of the basing that happens here.
