Of course we all know the government doesn't care what we want.

Of course they don't!! Why should they . . . they know what's best for us in spite of ourselves. That's why we need the Government to take over everything. We should just give 'em all our money and let them provide an allowance for those few things we need for ourselves. That's the direction we're heading in, anyway.
