I would respectfully request you cite your sources. I have seen nothing that idicates she is WORSE than Souter on 2nd ammendment rights and gun control issues. I think they will be about the same, bad....

The only instance I can see Souter voting pro gun was in the case where a career criminal was caught carrying a gun, which is an obvious attempt to get the legislature to pass more restrictive laws.

So, I have looked over the above links, many of them I had already read [yes, I can read :-) ] What we are debating here is not wether or not she is anti gun/ anti second amendment, but wether or not she is "Exponentially worse" (your words) than Souter. On gun control issues, based on past records, they will vote in a similar way.

I will take the opinion of her anti-constitutional record vs. Souter's and the word of the National Rifle Association, Gun Owners of America, Second Amendment Foundation, David Kopel, and other EXPERTS on the potential impact of a LIFETIME APPOINTMENT OF SOTOMAYOR as being a bad idea in no uncertain terms, and not to be discounted lightly...

IF we as a country do not wake up and see the writing on the walls, and take a Proactive approach, vs. a Reactive approach, to the continued assaults on our unalienable rights, such as Gun Ban Obama & Company's attempt to ramrod Sotomayor through the Senate, like the rest of the Unprecedented Usurpation's and Constitutional Infringements of this Administration, then we most certainly deserve the loss of said freedoms...

We must demand in no uncertain terms that our Senators DO NOT CONFIRM SOTOMAYOR!
