Do we Clark County permit holders have to carry our blue cards with our carry gun(s) or not?I thought that at my last renewal we were told that we no longer had to, but I just saw something online that made me question that.
I think your post would have been more prudent to state here is a link for further itemized detail of the applicable Nevada Revised Statues...
While I did not intentionally omit anything...
I suppose I could have provided a link to what you have copied herein...
Although, since my intention was a high-level layman summary of the facts, not a ad nauseam copy & paste of a section of NRS Legalese and that the all the Casinos are not inherently against CCW, based on my personal experience and being a 10+ Nevada CCW holder... further, effectively everything I posted is a high-level summary of what you posted...
Nothing I posted was false or incorrect...
In part, Nevada Revised Statute 202.3673 states: Paraphrased - A permittee shall not carry a concealed firearm into a public building that has a metal detector at each public entrance or a sign posted at each public entrance indicating that no firearms are allowed in the building...
No metal detector or sign and your on strong legal ground.

I am not a lawyer, but have plenty of first hand experience in this matter, my advise to somebody that is concerned about it, is to contact a subject matter attorney for a consultation, and if you are still concerned, carry a print out of whatever Nevada Revised Statutes said attorney advises you too...
Additionally, if you are pulled over or questioned by a law enforcment officer, asking if you are carrying; generally the best answer is... in this order; "I have a CCW and I am carrying".
Nevada now has a State Wide Preemption law, that null and voids the Boulder City and the City of North Las Vegas firearm laws that were in Conflict with State laws...
E.G.: you previously could not carry a loaded firearm in your vehicle while driving through North Las Vegas or Boulder City, even if you had a CCW...
The main one thing they have yet to fix preemption wise is that they grandfathered in Clark County laws, such as Clark County is the only stinking country in the entire state that has a mandatory handgun registration requirement (AKA: Blue Card)...
Another thing that chaps my hide about Nevada is that they do not use the FREE FBI NICS SYSTEM, they use Nevada Department of Public Safety, and charge you $25.00 bucks per NICS Check, (Effectively a un-legislated tax) now including CCW Holders, thanks to last July's BATFE administrative Infringement, that does not allow Nevada CCW holders to be excluded from NICS checks because our stinking CCW applications effectively do not say NEW/RENEWAL Permit...
There is also a dumb ass law that remains on the books that says you cannot carry a loaded shotgun or rifle in your vehicle; this was something the game and fish pushed through years ago that remains a state-wide Second Amendment Infriengment, needing to be amended, voided, etc...
The Nevada Legislature can fix the three of these, but we need continued state and national pressure on them to get it done...
Like at the national level, in Nevada nearly every politician with a "R" next to their name got voted out, including our most staunch 2nd Amendment supporters, due to the kool-aid drinking Gun Ban Obama and company supporters in November 2008...
If you wish to state your constituent opposition to existing and continued 2nd Amendment Infringements, here are a couple of sources to support that endeavor...

Moreover, it should be noted that any state requiring a CCW is effectively a 2nd Amendment Infringement and further violates at least the 10th and 14th amendments of the constitution as well...
Like the unconstitutional NICS checks, said infringement is a means to an end, the end being ease of disarmament of firearms owners...
The Second Amendment does not state "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED" Except...
If your zip code is X, your standing at Y, or the type or class of firearm you desire to carry is z, or that said weapon(s) are concealed or open...
You simply cannot read anymore into 'SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED", and if as many firearms owners voted and or actually actively stood up for their 2nd Amendment rights proactively, we would not have the Usurper Gun Ban Obama and Company setting us up for disarmament, with such individuals as Harold Koh and Sonia Sotomayor and the ring leaders of the previous largest gun ban us U.S. history (Clinton Gun Ban Crew) in key positions to make such a disarmament happen...

There are exponentially more firearms owners, then people that voted in November...
The NRA claims about 4 million members...
The BATFE admits to at least 80 million legal firearm owners and more firearms this U.S. Citizens...
Pretty Sad Fricking State of Affairs...
The Sheeple in this country need to get off their lackadaisical keisters and get proactive, because reactive has never worked...
Ask now disarmed England, Australia, Canada, India, China, et.al. how those reactive protests to their disarmament have worked out for them...
"Congress has no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American. What clause in the state or federal constitution hath given away that important right... The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people." - Tench Coxe 1789
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms..disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed one." - Thomas Jefferson quoting Cesare Beccaria, Criminologist in 1764. That was 230 years ago." - Thomas Jefferson
"The constitutions of most of our States (and the U.S. Constitution) assert that all power is inherent in the people; that... it is their right and duty to be at all times armed." - Thomas Jefferson to John Cartwright, 1824. ME 16:45
"It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brush fires of freedom in the minds of men. " - Samuel Adams

I have a NV non resident CCW and I read you do not have to carry it. It is technically only a receipt Metro issues when you register. According to Timf over on OCDO, you don't even need it period but it comes in handy of you want to purchase another firearm and if you show your blue card there is no waiting period IIRC
