Contacting the legislature and governor is a good tactic for NV residents. However, there is an approach that us non-residents can take that might be very affective if enough of us do it.
I will be contacting the casino's with which I hold "players cards". I will be informing them that they can cancel my accounts because my UT CCP is no longer recognized in NV and I no longer feel safe travelling to their fair state. In some cases, I'm down quite a bit and they'll miss my revenue. In some cases, I'm up quite a bit and they'll never get it back. Either way, they're gonna miss me.
That will not work because the casinos don't really want CCW to begin with.
I don't expect anything to be done until the 2011 legislative session. With Bernie Anderson gone, we can see more pro-gun legislation pass unless the successor to the Assembly Judiciary Committee is someone who is depriving another village of their idiot.
