I took it. In 1965. And I don't remember anywhere that it came with an expiration date.

I took that oath 3 times during my service, and I guess 3 times a charm because mine is still with me 17 years later with no signs of wear or tear. Under expiration it says "Indefinite". If you have never taken the oath, now is the time. You can do it by yourself or with a group, with your family or friends, just do it.

I have never taken that particular oath, however I think it is the duty of every American to defend the constitution. PERIOD.
