Don't be so sure...people seem to have a remarkable capacity for self-abuse, politically. Look at how many times Ted Kennedy was elected! Pelosi, Dodd & Reid, too! The mere fact that we (the majority) elected Obama speaks to an electorate that's prepared to overlook the most obvious shortcomings and negative traits for the sake of some fantasy about what they thought would happen under this man. I can't tell you why . . . it was perfectly clear to me, as I know it was to most of us here, and Time seems to be bearing out my darkest expectations, with even darker clouds on the horizon. Voters have short memories, and scoundrels are going to get elected despite their performance in the National arena. Must be something I'm not seeing, but I'm not wearing any rose-colored glasses. The most interesting thing to me is that, even when you present a linear, coherent argument as to the reasons for your thinking, Liberals reject it out-of-hand...almost like they put their hands over their ears, clamp their eyes shut and yell, "LALALALALALAYAYAYAYAY, I CAN'T HEAR YOUOOOO!!!", like a petulant little child. What's up with that?!? Like yelling trumps reason.

The "sound of distant thunder" has never been louder...in my ears, anyway. And I know some of you agree.

You all are forgetting the one thing he has accomplished like no one before him has EVER done. He has galvanized the nation, and awakened the couch potatos (or potatoes for Quail). He has caused the average American, the homeowner, the cop, the small business owner, the elderly (good God have you seen some of these people fired up!!) to get out and let their voices be heard all across the U.S. We thank you for that mr. obama, you have organized us as probably no one else could, now look out 'cause we're comin', and there will be no stopping us. You're out, Pelosi's out, Reid is out, your whole gang will join the ranks of the unemployed very shortly.

I have been away from the computer, the news, and everything for some time now. Guess I was just fed up with how dumb so many Americans could be! But man, I pray you are correct on this. I kinda had hoped that that was what would happen. Again I pray you are correct, and in 2 more years, the people will have wised up, and it's not too late. I still believe there is a good chance Acorn got him election though voter fraud, not to mention the phony birth certificate business!

• Like most of the Progressives before him (Wilson, Roosevelt(s), Kennedy, Johnson) Democrat Jimmy "Worthless, Coward" Carter, created many useless government "Departments" and "Entitlements", that have been nothing more then an increased tax debt.
• Anybody remember where we first met the current whack-job President of Iran? - He was one of the terrorists that held our guys for 444 days back during Jimmy the Wimp days...
• Slick-Wille cannibalized the military, Veterans Administration (Including but not limited to WALTER REED hospital, that W. Bush got blamed for...) for 8 eight years and took most of that money and gave it away to the U.N. and other Socialist Entitlement Programs in the U.S...
• Our Taxes were higher under Carter, Reagan, H.W. Bush, and Slick-Wille Clinton then they were under W. Bush...
• When Reagan took office we were using Korea & Vietnam-Era Technology in the Military...
• When Slick-Willie Clinton took office we were the most technologically advanced military on earth... When he left we were very far down the totem poll...
• When Slick-Wille Clinton left office Saddam Hussein had a larger standing Army and better armed then we did... The only real military advantage we had remaining at the time was our out-dated Naval & Air force technology... and nukes...
• When Slick-Willie Clinton left office we were fricking RIPE FOR 911, totally oblivious that anybody in the world wanted to do us harm, (except for some of us in the military) we had ZERO pieces of body armor, zero armored Humvees, by the end of W. Bush's 2nd Term we had over a million pieces of body armor and 10's of thousands of armored Humvees... yet W. Bush got slammed and still gets slammed for sending our troops (myself and kids included) into harms way without body armor, armored Humvees, etc...
• Under W. Bush we now once again have the greatest armed and most technologically advanced military on earth second to none...
• IF anybody is responsible for 911, et.al. its fricking Slick-Wille Clinton whom like the current Socialist Car-Salesman; he thought we could negotiate with terrorists, and was more worried about doing trouser tricks with Monica then giving the kill-shot order to our snipers whom had Bin Laden in their cross-hairs on his watch... before 911...
• How many people remember that on Slick-Willie's watch Bin Laden placed an ad in a major London newspaper that the A.P. put out over every media outlet on the planet that stated it was every Muslim on earth's duty to kill any American or Jew on earth by any means necessary and that they had no higher calling... A week later ABC news interviewed Bin Laden and asked him if he meant to make a distinction between women, children, old, sick or infirm, he stated no, make no distinction they all must die...
• How many American Embassy's, Naval Ships were bombed on Slick-Willie Clinton's watch?
• How many on W. Bush's watch before 911 and how many after?

As the saying goes "PEACE THROUGH SUPERIOR FIREPOWER"

Was W. Bush perfect no... but he was not that bad either, and he kept us safe and I am proud to have had him as my commander in chief...

Too many fail to recognize that we had 6 good solid years under W. Bush, and it starting going south in 2006... anybody remember what happened in 2006?
The Democrats took the Majority of Congress and stopped supporting W. Bush... and Hillary & Obama started campaigning for President...
And the biased media spin machine went into overdrive...

You can count on one-hand how many of the 535 members of Congress whom did not sign the Iraq War Resolution, only one of those that did not sign is still in office...

While W. Bush continues to get blamed for an illegal war, invading Iraq, etc., that he insisted on getting Congress's approval (and he got) on before going forward with...

They had the same facts he did, the same facts every intelligence agency in the world on our side had, and the facts that Saddam Hussein had in the not so recent past used Weapons of Mass Destruction on his own people...

And the facts that the Israelis had in fact blown up a Nuclear Reactor belonging to Saddam Hussein that the stinking FRENCH sold to him...
And the facts that he was playing the same cat & mouse game the whack job in N. Korea is playing with us now...

Yes mistakes were made, but W. Bush's mistakes were the same everybody else made, and given the information he had before him, and the advise by subject matter experts given him; he could make no other choice...

G.W. Bush is a Great American PERIOD...

His prime objective was to keep America safe after 911, and he did that...
