Republicans and democrats: Fooling all of the people all of the time!

I was just asking; didn't take offense, nor was I seeking to offend.

I have never voted for a Democrat for president. But neither will I settle for the "lesser of two evils." Yet again, I will vote every time. What does that tell you?

I didn't feel as though you were seeking a fight or trying to insult either. Nuance of language is nearly impossible to convey on tah intarwebz. Maybe a smiley or two would have been helpful

I've never voted Democrat either, and I the one time I voted Republican he lost (not counting Ron Paul--I voted for him before he was a Republican). We must vote, it's what a good citizen does. We must be the citizens our Republic deserves, even if we have to put up with a government that does not follow our Constitution. I remain hopeful the people will one day wake up and demand that government return to following the Constitution.

Good post, Montana; but the old adage is still true, because at least by pointing this out you are not fooled!

I sure hope our country will soon have the guts to vote for an independent candidate. The Republicans and Democrats have raped and darn near destroyed the country. They have our military fighting in another Vietnam type conflict with no intent on winning. The politicians pretend that they are fighting a war on terror but don't secure our borders and don't produce alternative fuel sources to eliminate our dependency on barbaric regimes. Even a child would know to avoid such tactical nonsense. They continue to remain in the United Nations, an organization that has nothing but contempt for this country and where a couple of the leaders are clearly certifiably insane. I am just so surprised that Obama has not apologized to the French for the negative environmental impact which may have resulted from the pollution of the Normandy Beaches with young dead Americans. Obama, our girly-man president, has now created a situation in which Israel has few other options than to launch a military attack on Iran's nuclear facilities. The Jewish people learned a long time ago that when an insane funny little man says he wants to wipe out all Jews, that they had better pay attention and take pre-emptive action. Obama has a great love which may eventually be the death of this country-------his love for himself. I truly think he is so narcissistic that he believes he can even charm psychopathic leaders of rogue states. The only thing that might have been worse than electing Obama would be a McCain presidency. McCain would have taken us to the same socialist state, but done so quietly----not like a bull in a china shop.
