The Progessive/Liberals in DC just won't leave the country alone.
And you thought all talk of a public option health insurance plan was dead. But no, Rep. Pete Stark (D-Calif.) asked the Congressional Budget Office to crunch the numbers on a public plan, funded by premiums, not taxes, and they found the following:
“The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimates that the public plan’s premiums would be 5 percent to 7 percent lower, on average.”

In 21st century America, the idea of states declaring unconstitutional laws null and void, and resisting unconstitutional overreach of federal power, seems radical and even extremist to many citizens. But in fact, the idea of states nullifying unconstitutional federal acts rests on a philosophical foundation squarely in the mainstream of political thought for our nation’s founders.
And the Commonwealth of Kentucky sinks its roots deep into the soil of liberty.
In November 1798, the Kentucky legislature passed a series of resolutions known as the Kentucky Resolutions of 1798, declaring the Alien and Sedition Acts passed by Congress “altogether void, and of no force.”
Who authored this radical resolution?
Thomas Jefferson...

More Gypsy spin. Only one small aspect (individual requirement) was ruled on. Judges in three other states have already upheld the same. SCOTUS will eventually rule on the one small aspect. 99% will remain intact no matter what. Maybe all. Interstate commerce can be interpreted in alot of different ways. What was that last Supreme Court judge's name again?
Good luck, get your spin going.![]()
Progressive liberals will always interpret the Constitution in their favor. Obama was elected and he represents their interest so don't expect a change. They are the party that gets to stack the deck.

Clay county, Ky, the most unhealthy county in the United States, voted overwhelmingly for anti-obamacare Rand Paul.
People in Clay county are literally dying to vote for candidates who oppose obamacare.
If "Obamacare" is unconstitutional, Then auto insurance required by States is also unconstitutional.... As is any required insurance..... I do not want to be on the road when that be comes law.....

Auto insurance comes with the permission to own a vehicle from the state as a requirement. You are free to get it from any company that writes it in your home state. Or a bond put up to the state to cover any accidents. There is no mandatory Federal requirement for it. Even on a military base you are only required to meet the state you are in's requirements or your home state's. There is no insurance required to live. YET! Living is a right whereas driving is a privilege. The point of it being within the State's Rights and not the Feds to decide this is another point that is being brought up in the other cases. Currently seniors and those on SS due to disability are not forced to take Medicare. YET!
