I think it's more about the city with it's crooked politicians & it's out of control crime that is important here.
I know gun people don't like BHo but i think the decision made by the IOC had nothing to do with the man & everything to do with the recent senseless killing of innocent children on there way to or from school.
I'm sure some of the crooked Illinois politicians who have made the news during the last year didn't help either.
I know I live 10 hours from Chicago & I wouldn't go to the Olympics there if some one gave me free tickets & a place to sleep while there.
Rio on the other hand sounds like fun. I have not much interest in the olympic games But Rio during Carnival would be a blast. Wish i could afford to go.

I don't know. I think Rio has a higher murder rate than Chicago I think it was due in part because the IOC and the world in general has a contempt for America. OF course it does not help when you have a President going around the world apologizing for America and a first lady that says when Obama got the nomination it was the first time she was proud to be an America. I got news for her. There is no ball and chain keeping her and the messiah here.
