Reporter Fired For Muslim Remarks How did we get to the point that it's alright to attack Christianity but not the Muslims? This man was fired for agreeing that Muslims killed on 9/11 and that political correctness could lead to problems. I think we, as a country, need to rethink where we're headed.

I respect Juan Williams for holding his position and not back tracking with some bull **** apology. He is standing his ground and he meant every word. We are getting in a bad state of affairs when we are disciplined for our feelings and opinions. Juan Williams indicated that he FELT a bit scared when he saw people on a plane in arab garb. How many of us Don't. If we are disciplined for our feelings and opinions, how soon be fore we are prosecuted for our Thoughts. It is not a first amendment issue. The government did not fire him. However, I agree it was disgraceful that NPR did. Not surprising, after all, he strayed from the liberal line, so he had to go. But disgraceful. NPR should be de-funded immediately.
Fox has already picked him up (at $2,000,000) so I doubt he could sue NPR
