I was told that I was the third person to register for the recall. I have not received my package yet. There was one report on the LCP forum, Elsie Pea Forum - The #1 Ruger LCP Owner Forum and Information Source that said he got his package.

Some users who had their LCP in for repairs when the recall was announced have begun to receive their modified LCP's back.

Default LCP recall

I submitted my info by computer about 3 weeks ago and have not heard anything yet. Is anyone still using their LCP?

With over 50,000 manufactured, there were only 3 reported AD's from dropping on a hard surface. I believe that Ruger established the recall out of an abundance of caution. I still carry it. What's more I carry with one in the pipe.

Im going to start carring her anyway until I receive the shipping kit. Hate seeing it just sit there.

I registered the first night, 10/29. I received my mailer on Friday of last week, and it was picked up today by UPS. I expect it back in about 2 weeks. I continued to carry it before I sent it out, figured the recall was a precaution action anyway.
