How Do We Join the New Social Groups

I love that you have expanded the forums to include specific groups for AK, AR, and other firearms.

I went to one of the groups, but could not start a thread.

How is this going to work? How do we join these groups?

Yes, you have to join the group first to be able to post in it. I'll try to add some instructions about this on the forums list.
