Default I think

he means a special spot to post things like Letters To Editors (LTE) or other published comments. It would become a place you could cut and paste from to make doing citations, anecdotes and quotes if you were working on another Letter or other type of response to a newspaper, TV station, etc.

Could you possibly lengthen out the logoff timer?

I have been logged off while typing Replies about 5-6 times in the last 4-5 days. Keep doing the same message over and over again because the message gets lost.

Since most states don't send reminders, if your license expires you could end up in hot water if you were caught carrying without a valid CCW.

Just a thought.
This is actually the next big feature we are going to be adding. My developer hasn't had time to start it but I hope we can work on it soon.

Timeout lengthened from 15 minutes to 12 hours.

Luke, if you could find a way to block the spam for Viagra ads, porn site ads, etc. that would be a great step forward. Your doing a great job and there should be a way of blocking them. Thanks.

Hey Ron, I have a filter in place that seems to have been working for a while. What ads are you referring to?

Hey Luke, the last ad I saw was either last night or this morning. It was on the home page. I say ad but it was in the "Latest Post" area. I didn't open it but it was something about a porn site. Thanks.

I looks like the filter has picked them all up. Feel free to contact me if you see anything that shouldn't be here and I'll take care of it ASAP.

At the time of this post, the top entry in "Latest Post" is in the Off Topic forum and titled "A babe spanked by her mistress." The poster is "BererameMat"

EDIT: Interestingly, the post doesn't seem to actually exist when I go to the Off Topic forum itself. Is the filter removing the spam messages from the forum, but they still show up in the "Latest Post" area?

Edit 2: "BererameMat" is listed as the newest member to the forum, and looking at the profile reveals the number of posts to be zero. I don't know how the Latest Post area of the home page works, but perhaps it could be somehow configured to check and make sure that the author of a "latest post" has more than zero posts?

My vote for the keeping the site family friendly. I suggest this site to many people, and I realy thing that a good image to the noob / anti community is extremely important. We don't need any bad images of gun owners.

I personally like where it is.I like the high road, and a little extra testosterone from time to time, but not an overdose.I think that's what we have.I enjoy this forum immensely.
