Not that I would expect it to happen, but what would you think of it if two or three armed strangers showed up on your doorstep to ...minister... to you to correct your hatemongering ways?

If these armed strangers were doing proper CC then I wouldn\'t notice. If they were open carry, or chose to improperly carry, I have a 50 cal belt fed weapon in my kitchen ready to repel any and all people from the internet.

over there at the ranch they gives all new people a trial membership. If the new person does not posess clean morals, and a keen knowledge of the scriptures, full membership is not granted.
I think they should do the same here to keep out the non-belivers, heritics, and other trash.

I thought this site was dedicated to Concealed Carry, not religion. I could care less what religion anyone is and it cetianly not be a criteria for membership in THIS forum. No matter what you beleive, I don't care if it's Muslim, Babtist, Catholic, Jewish...whatever, this site is about GUNS. Religion has no business in this forum. This is NOT a Christian Site, this is a site for gun owners and those who have choosen to carry concealed and should not be hijacked by ANYONE whoose topic is not GUNS.

Let's get on track here folks. If you want religion to be a requirement go start the RELIGIOUS USA CARRY website. Otherwise, just keepit about guns. I beleive, but I keep it to my self on sites like this. If I want to spread the word, I do it on foot, in my local area, or on websites that deal specifically with religion. That's not what I am HERE for.

Brez1, you are most correct sir. May I tell you a little history of this website? Not so long ago, this nice place was riddled with hard core religious christian zealots. A few of them were even conspiracy buffs. You know? like Jessie the body? The management even went as far as to set up a poll asking about religion. You should of heard the zealots. It was terrible. management here said \\\"enough\\\" and banned religion. There was a great deal of screaming, and crying from the religious membership. In retaliation, most of the hard core zealots went over to a website known as the ranch. The management here, in an attempt to save this site, played around a little, and eventually allowed religion back in. He even went as far as to remove the loudest critics of the zealots, and fear mongers. Before the zealots left many of them came back to harass members here. It was very in-mature.
Perhaps, someday, this will become a great site, a gun related site.
Forgive my sarcasm. I to believe that this should be a gun only site. However, it is up to the owner, and his buddy to decide what goes on here.
BTW, mooselims are not welcome. Just read some of the hate postings. I find it clearly to be racial discrimination, but, what do I know?

Why is it you can't talk about guns, fishing, camping, current events, religion, etc. all on one site? If you don't want to discuss a particular subject then don't post in that thread. It's really quite simple. For those who want to ban religion as a topic and make this a gun only site then the only fair thing to do is ban ALL subjects not related to just guns. This means no more talking about immigration, heath care, global warming, most discussions about Obama, and so many other subjects. Again I say if you don't want to discuss a subject don't read or post in that thread. As for personal info being posted well I believe that may be a bad idea. Identity theft is already a huge problem and I think the info I've given about myself is more than enough.

Regarding the "ranch".... they do have a religious section, and they do have an "adults only" section. However each member must individually apply for access to each section, or those sections will NOT be visible.

I fail to see how anyone could confirm ID without divulging sensitive info. On top of that I don't think Luke has the time nor resources. UNLESS it was commercially viable which would mean membership cost to post. DON'T think we would want that. Also with the Thumbs UP/DOWN Luke can cull the Trolls a little better.
