    Default Apparent lock-up

I tried searching for a related question and the symptoms I am commenting about occurred--the browser indicated something was loading, but it seemed to stay at that point until I got impatient and poked the "Post New Thread" button.

I have noticed on this site only that most of the time when I try to go back one page when finished reading a thread the browser (Firefox) seems to lock up. The note in the lower left corner says "Read ssl.gstatic.com." The easiest way to get around it is to open another window in the browser and surf the site from there. This does not occur on any of the other sites I visit regularly. Anyone have an idea what is going on?

Anyone else having this problem? The site seems fine in Firefox for me here.

I had this problem for several days. Workaround was to stop the loading then refresh, whereupon it would load normally. I ran my anti-virus & discovered some weird code. It seems to be running normally now. Oh yeah, I use Firefox 5.0 also. I also ran a registry cleaner so I'm not really sure which did the trick but I definitely recommend a full AV scan.

I work in IT so first run your virus scan, then see what happens. And if that fails reinstall firefox, as I don't want to go thru all the setting you can check, on your browser.

I guess I was wrong-its still doing it. have to hit stop, then reload. Only does it with this site. By the way, reloading Firefox made no difference for me. Overwrite, not a full delete and reload. Strange that its just this site.

Just to try something use internet explorer on the site see what happens.
If it works ok you might want to run thru your options and settings, security ,pop up ect and compare them.
Also might be a plug in that may not have been on one or the other.
It just something to try fast to see what happens.
