Thread Review by Moderator?

Just a question - Posted a link to site that lists all the gun related giveaways (found this site thru there) and was wondering how long the review process was or if it was even going to be approved and posted.

When I submitted the thread it said "pending Moderator approval"

I was actually curious about this myself. I posted a link from one regional forum's post (MA) to another (NH) regarding non-resident CCW permits. The URL in the reply probably triggered Moderator Approval, which is completely fine. Having moderators watch out for questionable or malicious website references is very much appreciated.

There's absolutely no hurry, but in general, how long does it typically take for moderators to release these types of posts into the wild?

For the record, my post got approved by the admins a couple hours ago. As a general guideline -- and in my experience -- figure about 24-48 hours for a post with a safe URL to be approved by the mods.
