Why does this forum allow blatant trolling? The title says it all. There's at least one poster who openly admits to being a troll, we have other posters who get banned and log right back in under a sock puppet, we have poster that do nothing but flame people and totally ignore the profanity rules and it all goes unnoticed.
There's a reason this forum is considered a joke

I agree with you 100% I've complained many times only to have my Complaints fall on Deaf Ears.
It seems to be getting worse too. The Profanaity as well is out of Control, Let alone the Flamming !!

Why does this forum allow blatant trolling? That's why I don't visit much anymore. Glock talk , rugerforum.net, and smithandwesson.com are way more informative and friendly places.
Actually the trolls do not bother me nearly as much as those who either do not have enough sense to ignore them or think that they are doing the group and world a favor by trying to argue with them. All the trolls want is the exact thing they are getting is someone all riled up. What is even worse are those who start complaining about a troll just because someone may not agree with their very one sided opinion.
DNFTT = Do Not Feed The Troll is something that some people just cannot obey just like some people try to get inside the cages at a zoo.
To quote Aristotle "It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it". I would like to say that "It is the mark of an intelligent person to be able to ignore a troll".
I really like this forum because it's not overly moderated. But, I think it could use a little more than it gets now; and I would like to see a couple of mods appointed to help out; (just a little bit).Originally Posted by localgirl

I don't think Treo is necessarily a troll. I've certainly seen much worse on here than he is!
Sure, he can be a trouble maker, rabblerouser and generally a BIG pain in the ^$$ at times. But, I would be glad to have him on my side should "S" hit the "F".
