Default Can we get a religious section please!!!

Is there any way we can get a section for religion,it seems that the political section has been taken over and that's all that is being posted in it. I'm not anti religious but in almost every post,no matter what it is,it turns into bible quotes and religious views. If you do can you make it to where if they keep posting all their religious views they get moved of temporary banned for a short time.

We had a religious forum and it got way out of hand.

Well that's what's happening with the political section! It would be nice to read about political issues without having the same 4 guys jump in and it seems their biggest issue is abortion, nothing to do with what the topic is,they bring it in almost every time,I'm new to this forum and if it stays like it is I'll be going elsewhere, sounds like others are talking the same way,I know I'm only one person but,it's getting pretty bad.

Report the posts in question. It is the caution icon in the bottom left of each post.

Thanks for replying Luke,I'm not going to be the one to report anyone, just not that type of person, either I'll deal with those guys if they attack any of my replys or I'll get myself banned, not what I want to do,but I won't take their attacks, they back each other pretty regularly.ill try to behave myself cause I do like 90 percent of this forum.

I'm just curious Luke.....Is this a record? One month and 44 posts before demanding bans, not because the guy is being attacked, but because he simply doesn't like the content of certain participant's posts? It certainly decimates any previous record that I've seen, but I don't have to cover the whole board like you do.
Gun Control: The theory that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her own pantyhose, is somehow morally superior to a woman explaining to Police how her attacker got that fatal bullet wound.

Demanding bans??? Where did I do that? I mentioned if guys keep posting things that are a little off the topic the post should get moved and if they kept doing it maybe a temporary ban.this is kinda what I mean, someone does a post and here they come adding more untrue info. I have noticed lately that you haven't been quoting bible versus at all today,is it because of this post I did and you think Luke might be watching you now.

Uh...yeah man, your obvious irresistible influence over Luke really scares the crap out of me. Name: Roll_Eyes_Smiley_by_Mirz123.gif

While it is true that I am Christian and try to lead my life as such, you will find maybe one or two posts out of my 900+ where I quoted a Bible verse. One of them was in reply to you, so I guess I can see where you got your misconception that I've somehow altered my normal way of participating here because you went crying to Luke to have me and others put in our place. However, my quoting Scripture that time was used totally in-context and on-topic to what was being discussed, and the reason it was directed at you was because you completely misstated my previously and clearly-stated positions in that thread and it became apparent to me that I needed to better explain them. I even prefaced the use of Scripture by saying that I try not to be "preachy," and wasn't being in that post. I was simply explaining my reasons and rationale for holding the positions I do about Romney and other political issues.

You have deluded yourself into thinking that simply signing up at a forum and being allowed to post here gives you the authority to tell the owner what topics should be allowed to be discussed, who should be allowed to participate, and who should stifle themselves at your behest. Doesn't work that way.

But there's good news for you. There is an ignore function built into this forum. Do you know how to use it? I'd be happy to give you instructions if you don't. It isn't all that intuitive, so I'm not being sarcastic in suggesting that you might need help using it. The main thing in using it is to spell the user's name right that you want to ignore. There's no limit to the number of participants you can ignore, so inputting four user names shouldn't be that much of a challenge. Rather than tattling on posters and trying to get them banned for not following your meaningless rules, I suggest you turn to the ignore function before your head explodes.

Man you are so far out there,I wonder where you got brainwashed. I only hope you didn't breed,I would feel so sorry for your children if you had them. That ignore button works both ways, try it you might like it better. I can tell from ALL your other posts you like to have the last word so go ahead and reply to this again you DA. I'm not going to put you on ignore, but I will keep reading the crap you spew and I'll try, really try not to respond to anything you post.praise the lord, god bless you.
