I still have my Apple II+ in the basement, the predecessor to the IIe. That was bought ostensibly as a bribe to my children to cooperate during a family move to a new job. It worked and Mom and Dad had something to play with as well. Can't bring myself to dispose of it. Running web services from my home office via dial-up, with auto-redial when the line dropped seemed high tech then. How times have changed.

Experience is a funny thing. It makes some paranoid and some complacent. Better informed practitioners than C-L and I have written extensively on these issues. I try to evaluate many inputs, including yours, C-L, remain calm and informed and action oriented and usually go with the experts.

YMMV
