The new forum format

Thanks. Today has/is a LONG day. I've been working on the site all day, mostly backend things you guys would see but I finally got around to some of the fun stuff I wanted to do.

I really like the tabs. I think the forum page loads faster since you don't have to load that long list of forums. Be on the lookout for more changes. You can tell in the main navigation that I've reorganized where things are located. Ok, back to work!

I'm embarrassed to say that I did not notice any changes until I read this thread. Sometimes I'm oblivious to these things. But now that it's been pointed out, I like and appreciate it.

While you are contemplating new features for this forum (one of my favorite places), please consider showing already viewed threads when the New Posts button is used. My reason for the request is that I frequently decide to add to a thread after I've read it and am on to other threads. I then have to go on a search.

Sure, I'll look into that. There may be a better way to do that, a feature I think called Tagging. It basically lets you tag forums and then go to your tagged list to view them. Would something like that work?

That would work. However, I would prefer the forum work like most of the other dozen or so forums I frequent. Thanks for looking into it for us.

Haha, not sure what that one means either!

The content organization is a lot better with the new format, just may take some time getting used to.

I think I am going to like it too once I get used to where everything is.
