A person asks, "How many of you would like to receive a new gun of your choice as a birthday present?"

5,000 replies:"ME!"

What else is there to say? IF someone were to ask, "How many of you would like to receive a new gun of your choice as a birthday present AND what would you want it to be?"

Then we could get into more than one liners. I do "one liners" myself... yeah, not very often, but once in a while there isn't anything to say but a few words. IT DOESN'T MAKE IT BAD TO DO THAT (answer with one liners).

Sorta like, "Most of you guys on here are ...guys?..." Imagine that!

The "one liners" had nothing to do with thinking of leaving this forum.

I'm with MP3Mogul on wondering why, if all I want to say, is a few words on whatever is being talked about in a thread, I would have to join that group.

But, one thing we have to remember; this is Luke's board and he can run it any way he wants to. It is up to us whether we stay or go.

Well you could really spice it up and say me too.

Personally, I think the Group Forum membership is a good thing. If your interested in a particular group join it, however, if you only want to reply to a single post and are not interested in the over-all forum then why worry about it? Luke does an outstanding job on this site and, unfortunately, you can't please everyone all the time. I hope I've made this long enough so that it doesn't count as a one liner.

Make that +2. This site is fine just the way Luke has made it.

Can we say that we like the site just the way it is and tell everyone who wants something different to "Keep The Change?" (says me while ducking behind the door to avoid flip flops and other items being thrown my way...)

Does the above fall under the term one liner?

Okay,

I see the posting was "humorous" at most to some. There were alot that agreed with me. I'm leaving, no offense to you Luke, although you didn't even respond....

Anyway... thanks for the opportunity, but I'm not joining all these groups to comment in a forum.. it's just not for me.........

Peace and God Bless..

Luke you can delete my account, as I won't be back again.

Hate to see you go over such a small and silly thing. But in the end you have to do what you have to do. As for Luke not posting in this topic. You posted it a few days before he was going to have his Stones dealt with. So he was not trying to be rude to you. Sorry to see you go and i wish you well in life. ( HOPE YOU WILL STAY). As for the user groups they only make up a vary small amount of the overall forum. You have all the rest to post in as you will.

Yo MP3Mogul ,
I think the social group deal for USA Carry is a good idea, brings the folks into a huddle who R experts or wanna-know about something that most of the members R IMHO savvy about, guns are like cars, too many models to know or love 'em all. Yes they do need some sort of moderation or they are just fancy names for mini open posting forums. I ain't heading for the hunting S/G 'cause I don't hunt. You joined Vets and Guns, you posted to it and I hope what you found in there helped get you everything you damn well deserve for serving your nation, us 1%'s, with guns and links to Vet helpful stuff. I don't ask much but lurk and you will always be welcome to blow some steam off or give us some feedback in Vets & Guns.
If you R out of here, Vets & Guns wish you good safe happy times wherever the cyber-wind blows you M8.
Thanks,

Canis-Lupus
