Default M&P compact

I shot an M&P 9mm compact this weekend. I was looking for a Glock 27 or 26 so I shot them at the range. You got to shoot 3 guns for the same price so I shot the M&P 9 compact, they didn't have a 40. I was wanting the small glock for concealed carry, but after shooting the M&P I think I changed my mind. What I'm wondering is if the 40 shoots about the same as the 9mm? Also, is the M&P compact pretty easy to conceal? It seems like it would be. I have a Glock 23 and I think the M&P would be easier to conceal since it's not as "blocky". I would appreciate the opinions of anyone owning an M&P.

I have the M&P 40c and I love it. I also have the 9mm but it is full size. The 40 shoots nice and holds about 2.5 in at 30 feet. I also find it ez to conceal. I us the Infidel holster from Comp-Tec. This company is a dream to work with and make a top quality holster

I can answer the question about conceal ability. I've carried mine a lot. I have the 9 mm compact. I just love it!
