NRA under SC says FL doesn't recognize us. Neither does SLED site. FL sites implies they do.
Bottom line question...
I have a SC CWP. I need Georgia, Alabama, Florida. What are my options?
NH?
Centre County PA?
UT?
Help me out. I've been reading for DAYS!
Thanks,
Phil

Personally, I would not risk jail, or firearm confiscation, by trusting ANY online source. General guidelines are fine, but unless someone can provide links to specific state code, I'd call the attorney general of the states you're concerned with and make sure what the CURRENT laws/rules are.
No disrespect to this or any other site...... this post is simply my own opinion.......

What SLED site are you looking at?
South Carolina Law Enforcement Division
The NH used to be an automatic for GA but they raised the price to $100 so PA may be a better option for $26 I understand. You can go the FL route but that is higher and more trouble. As of September 12, 2008, states with which South Carolina has reciprocity are:
Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
Residents of reciprocal states who hold permits issued by their states of residence may carry concealed firearms in South Carolina, but must abide by the restrictions in the South Carolina CWP law. For that reason, out of state residents of reciprocal states should familiarize themselves with restricted carry locations and other provisions of South Carolina law posted on this website. South Carolina permittees who carry firearms in reciprocal states are likewise responsible for familiarizing themselves with the applicable laws and regulations of the reciprocal state. Web sites of those states may be accessed by selecting the desired state name listed above.
Link to PA CCP application. $26, copy of your SC permit, Drivers License and SASE.

Ditto on the above post... you can carry in Florida with your SC permit, we have reciprocity with Florida. NH will give you Georgia, Alabama and Miss.... but now cost $100. Not sure what PA will give you, but pretty sure it will give you Georgia at least. I think I heard/ read this a.m. that the PA permit will not give you Miss.
I'd love to get a Utah permit, live in Greenville... can someone help me? cwp825?
PA Attorney General page lists PA's recip agreements.
Also HangunLaw is normally current.
Recripocity FL/S.C. yea right. Moved to S.C. from MO.(they -MO.had no problem with my FL.cwp).I move here, and S.C. says NO problem as long as you live in FL. we'll except your permit. A FL. permit is good in 34 states, S.C.-12 states, FL. allows you to carry almost anything- ie. blackjacks.stunguns, mace, brassknuckles, ect. I don't mind taking another class to get a S.C. cwp but, then I've got to wait 90 days to get it. Uncle Sam already has my fingerprints ( former-USAF ) & FL. so WHY does it take so long ? Why not have ONE Licence for the U.S. and buy endorsments for the states you need ? TIRED OF THE B.S.
