Thumbs up XD's

I dont have any pics, but I do have XD's. I own a 45 acp compact tactial, a 9mm Service, and a 9mm Sub-compact. I really enjoy shooting them too. The Sub-compact is my primary carry gun although in the winter months I sometimes carry the 45.
I am going to get one more 9mm. I want one of the green polymer ones, and I want it in sub-compact. I am going to wait until the first of next year though. I love the way that the XD's fit in my hands. I can keep real good control with them too.

Thumbs up XD's

I own 3 XD's. I have a 45 compact tactical, a 9mm service,and a 9mm sub-compact and I just love all 3 of them. The sub-compact is my daily carry pistol. I am now working on getting my 4 XD pistol. I want another 9mm sub-compact in the o.d.green.

I have an XD-9 Service, and have nothing but good things to say about it. Gott'a love a single-action!

Default What kind of Springfield?

I am now the happy owner of an SA XD-45 4" compact and am thrilled with it. I will post a pic in a day or two, but it is a brushed white metal over black polymer, and I am glad to report that it is the one without the thumb safety. The pistol still has two safeties, and the main one uses the brain to be the true safety. It is a very easy pistol to clean and use, and I will hopefully be able to buy another in the not too distant future. I sent in the paperwork to take part in SA's Gear Up promotion, so I will be receiving two more magazines and another magazine holder. Great deal.

Default Xd-40 4"

HI! Guys, just found this site and joined up. HAven't owned a piece since I sold my Ruger Security 6 .357 w/4" barrel. But this time I want to go concealed (permit is on the way). Got a good price on the XD-40, and will post some pics later. What I'm wondering now is the best way to carry this pistol concealed. Best holster, best position. I'm normally a "jeans & T-shirt" guy, so there may need to be some clothing changes.

Great to find a group dedicated to the Springfield Armory. As for the XD(M), the biggest differences I saw were the price and the mag capacity.

UPDATE: Pics of my XD-40, plus a demo of the Crossbreed SuperTuck are in my album. Easier to direct you there than to upload more grafix to my Web site.

I have an XD 45 Service. I'm not too happy with it because of the size. Picked it up in a multiple gun buy. I have big hands but the grip is still too large for my hand. Definitely not a carry weapon. I may trade it for an XD compact or keep it somewhere in the house for defense.
