Question open carry in texas

Hello im currently in the millitary and im stationed in Fort Hood/Killeen Texas and im trying to find out if my area or any place in texas has the open carry law?? If anyone Knows any info. on this or know how i could find out i appreciate it thanks.

Only on your own property. Rural your probably ok, urban you'll most likely alarm some neighbor.:o

You can only open car on your own property or place of business. You can keep it concealed in your vehicle without a CHL. TX is a duty to conceal State.
