| Hello all, I will be traveling to NC soon for a week of vacation. I have an Ohio Concealed Handgun License and do not want to stay in NC unarmed. By law in Ohio, a landlord cannot prohibit a tenant from owning, keeping, carrying a firearm. Is there such a law in NC? Our 2-week lease on a beach house forbids firearms in the house. If someone could show me what NC laws are relevant I would appreciate it. |

| "... carrying a concealed handgun is prohibited by the posting of a conspicuous notice or statement by the person in legal possession or control of the premises." GS 14-415.11(c) GS_14-415.11 Hope that helps. I don't think it's okay that it's a law, but that's what the statute says. |
