Don't know what the press will say about the automatic weapons fire but it was a warrant being served on a criminal, not a warrantless arrest by the US military under the new rules.
It sounds like the narcotics team was ambushed, the guy is supposedly ex military and used an automatic weapon.
Details are still sketchy, one officer did die from his wounds.
