I will be visiting the Green Mountain state soon. It says on the State Police page to check with the towns local police because some have different ordnances. I will be at Lake St. Catharine. As I said the State Police page said check the local ordinances. The town is Poultney and it doesn't look that they have a local police department so, who would be the best to call? Thanks

Certain towns have weapon discharge ordinances (williston comes to mind).but none have no weapons allowed ordinances.At least not that i am aware of.the poultney town clerks office would be a place to start.
