Some people have a point to prove, and don't mind spending money to do it. Lots of people post videos of torture tests on youtube. Handguards for AK's aren't that expensive, and for some, the glory of the bragging rights is priceless.
In order to rally people, governments need enemies. They want us to be afraid, to hate, so we will rally behind them. And if they don't have a real enemy, they'll invent one in order to mobilize us.
For some, the bragging rights are essential. Spray and pray serves no purpose unless your position is being overrun and you're out of Claymores. Even then, 3 round bursts are more effective.Originally Posted by Cooter
