Nothing like the News telling everyone in the world this woman has a cache of guns in her basement.
Then, they say this woman 'shouldn't have to face charges' because of the Castle Doctrine.

The woman with the big heart will probably be dead next time because now they all know she may be armed.

Obviously she can't depend on the cops to always be there to protect her, she needs to be able to protect herself.

As an "old" woman this is precisely why I practice shooting at the range everyday. Some ppl go to the gym, I go to the range. I live in a small town and every time you register a gun the whole city knows about it. Since I can't move as fast as I once could it would take much less for me to feel my life was in danger than a 200 lb man, I will defend myself and my husband at all cost.
I may be old and slow but my trigger finger is in good shape and well exercised, I don't intend on "scaring" anyone out of my home.
I wish this woman well.
