First of all, we want to greet you in our USA Carry community and thank you for joining to us! We are very happy to have you in our community! :)
While we give you a warm welcome, we also wanted to take the opportunity to mention a few important site tips and give you some hints and pointers about USA Carry:
For starters, a few important reminders:
- A new start of every new member is to know the community and its rules well so please start reading our rules page first. (See link to the left)
- Site Terms of Service, Privacy Policy are should also read as a starter. (See links to the left)
After we are through legal stuff and rules, here are a few hints and pointers for you as a new member:
- If you are new in a forum based community, you can visit our FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page to get used to forum concepts.
- It is also a good idea to read general forum etiquette rules if you not a forum patron. (You can find its link at the left of this page)
- If you have further questions, please feel free send us a message anytime. You can find "Contact Us" link to the left or at the footer of every page in our site.
- If you feel like posting a "hello" message to the community and maybe share a few words about yourself, you can do it in our New Member Introduction thread
- And don't be shy...keep posting in the forums! ;) More you contribute, more you'll feel welcomed!
Enriching Your Profile and Getting Familiar with the Site:
- Now that you are a member, you have a profile in our site. You can visit it here.
- If you want to change the information in your profile, enrich it or add more info there, you can do it inside Your Control Panel/Edit Profile Page.
- If you want to add a personal photograph of you to your profile, you can do it in this page.
- You can use a custom avatar here, if you want to display a small symbolic image under your posts and in your profile.
Groups - You can join or create groups now. Once a group has at least 5 members it can then have its own forum.

NOTE: TO POST IN A GROUP'S FORUM YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF THE GROUP. VISIT THE GROUP HOME TO SIGNUP FOR FREE
Blogs - You can now start you own blog. This allows you to post entries about anything you want and let others view and comments on your posts.
Click here to view a list of blogs. You can also post to yours from here as well. Once you create an account you automatically have a blog to use.
Pictures & Albums - You can create albums and upload pictures in your account. You can then use these pictures inside your posts or on other websites.
Calendar - This is our Event Calendar. There is a calendar for each state which lets your view upcoming events in that state listing anything from gun shows to training events.
RSS Feeds - Do you use any customizable homepages such as iGoogle or MyYahoo? Do you subscribe to RSS feeds through them or other readers? Visit the
USA Carry RSS Feeds page to subscribe for free and instantly see when news and posts are added to the site.
