    I got it but it will never happen and even if it did you would need to follow the CCW laws of that state which very greatly. and your licensed gun in one state might be illegal in another. ITa big ol can O worms! Oh and welcome to the site!

    I think you missed my point - that is, if we had a single national CCW permit, it would eliminate the potential for decent law abiding gun owners to end up on the wrong side of the current morass of laws. I think this would make travel within our great nation a much more relaxing event. Sure, you or I can "brush up" on the laws of our route, but it wouldn't be necessary if we had a single CCW permit.
