I love it I consider it one of the best holsters I have ever owned. It does take some getting used to the extreme high rise but it fully conceals my full size 1911 Kimber. I went for the system belt holster and mag pouches man SWEET very SWEET! I am very happy. Good luck if you head out to the place see if you can try one on he does excellent work.

Hello Gunny,

I read your post about Mernikle holsters and checked out that web site. I live in Reno and was thinking about taking a little ride out to Fernley to check his shop out. I was wondering how you like the holster you carry your 1911 in. Is it comfortable, the firearm accessible, easily concealed, no printing?
